Pains and strains

Why do you have to focus on workplace pains and strains? If you are a Company, then investment in easing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) for the workers will benefit you in the long run. The City of Ontario has a detailed policy in place to tackle such problems. Their research showed that "from 1996--2004, employers paid more than $12 billion in direct and indirect costs related to MSDs. Examples of indirect costs include overtime, equipment modifications, administration, retraining and lost productivity". MSD's account nearly half of the insurance claims in Canada. More information is available at http://www.preventionbestpractices.org/msd/
